That's how I feel about this weekend.
My amazing critique partner, Melissa Tagg, is coming to Phoenix for a way-too-cool brainstorming weekend.
I offered to visit her, but then she reminded me that in other parts of the country, it's actually snowing in February. Who knew? ;)
We plan to eat lots of junk food, watch movies (yes, Anne of Green Gables is on the docket!), and talk through our next books.
I'm so lucky to have Mel in my life, and I cannot wait to hang out with her more.
All I can say is, my poor husband. Two crazy writer chicks are invading his home. He usually just has to deal with one. Ha.

ReplyDeleteAwwww! That Anne-girl is one of my all time faves! You two will have an amazing weekend together. My honey and I will FINALLY celebrate Valentine's day on Sunday night. I'm letting him plan it. :) We have a Bible study and some family time. And, I'll be getting ready to see a certain friend (a few actually) in Destin next week. Yea!!!

ReplyDeleteThis weekend, I'm a bridesmaid in my best friend's wedding! :) So I'll be having fun with friends too and then I'm going over to my writing partner's house to stay two nights and brainstorm! yippee!

ReplyDeleteThis weekend I'm in Denver at my sister's house. Tomorrow we're going for pedicures and massages. Dads are in charge of the kiddos for the afternoon. Should be lots of fun! Oh, and I'm hoping to see Jeanne and Beth on Monday for a quick hug!
